This copy was printed between 1947 (when the America First Party became the Christian Nationalist Crusade) and 1953 (when their headquarters moved to Glendale).
Various Mormon figures—like some of their contemporaries—believed this work to be legitimate. As J. Reuben Clark's biographer, Michael Quinn, notes, "Like an American Fascist publication in his library, Reuben continued to affirm the authenticity of the Protocols. He kept several copies in his personal library at all times. As he depleted his own supply by distributing them to others, he obtained six copies at a time from two known sources. He ordered them directly from the Pyramid Book Shop of Houston, Texas, and through his secretary, Rowena Miller, obtained them from Marilyn R. Allen, a Salt Lake City anti-Communist." Mormon fundamentalist leaders also circulated it. Joseph Musser wrote to a friend in 1936, "Told you I would send you copy of 'Protocols,' and am now, under separate cover, fulfilling a promise. Thought I had an extra copy but cannot locate one. When you are through with this I shall be pleased to have it back again. There is much in it of interest." Condition: Very good. Item #41492
