From the Preface: This general distribution having exhausted the First Edition and the demand for the Psalmody still continuing, necessitates the issuing of this Second Edition revised, corrected, improved in form and printed on superior paper, together with the addition of twenty-four tunes set to the words as published in the twentieth edition of the Latter-day Saints' Hymn Book.
