Salt Lake City: Deseret Book Company. First edition thus. Leather. This is the first of 2 different leather bound printings of this series. This set lacks the Promised Messiah and Mortal Messiah, Book 1.
This set bound in the following colors:
Mortal Messiah-Mismatched Brown leather. Book 2 - 73 of 301 - light brown with mottled brown endsheets, Book 3 - 89 of 300 - chocolate brown with mottle brown endsheets, Book 4 - 124 of 304 - dark brown with mottle brown endsheets, Millennial Messiah - 177 of 300 - Navy blue leather with plain bonded leather endsheets. Each volume has 5 raised bands on the spine with three "flower-like" designs as well as the author, title and publisher in gilt; all edges gilt and a silk ribbon marker. Minor rubbing to covers.
Name of Dell Van Orden embossed on front cover of each volume. Van Orden was an Assistant Editor of the Church News and brainchild of the Deseret News Church Almanac. He also author or co-authored several books. Condition: Very good. Item #40275
