NP: NP, 1851-1852. Leather. 3/4 black leather over plain black boards. New black leather spine added with red title label. Title reads: Pearl of Great Price and Misc. Works. New endsheets added and first few pages were repaired along the gutter. Title page and contents page of the Pearl of Great Price are stamped with the name of German Ellsworth in purple ink. Matthias Cowley called Ellsworth on a mission to the Northern States Mission during a stake conference in 1903. He was soon made mission secretary, and then after a year, at age 33, made him mission president.
