Thomas Allman was born in England in 1819, the son of John and Catherine Mollart Allman. Thomas married three times. In 1840 Thomas married Prudence Mills. Their son John was born in England. Thomas and Prudence joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Thomas, Prudence and John immigrated to the United States in 1843. They lived in Nauvoo. Their son Reuben was born shortly before Prudence's death. Thomas married Jane Walker Brull in 1844. Thomas' son John also died in Nauvoo. John and Jane lived for a while in Galena, Illinois and arrived in Utah in 1850. Jane and Thomas's daughter Emma Jane was born in 1853. Thomas' third wife was Elmira Phillips, the daughter of Richard and Margaret Luker Phillips. Thomas and Elmira were the parents of eleven children, including Mary Ann, Prudella, Thomas, Levi, Clara, Albert, Jessie, Dora, Nora and Samuel. Thomas died in 1889. Condition: Very good+.
