Salt Lake City: NP, 1880-1885. Hardcover. 704, 788, 512, 336 pp. Roughly a third of Tullidge's History of Salt Lake City is bound in at the end of vol. 3. All three volumes are green 3/4 leather over black cloth. Leather is rubbed especially at the corners and head and foot of the spine. Vol. 1 is signed by author and editor and lay leader in the church, Edward H. Anderson. Anderson succeeded B.H. Robers as the associate editor of the Improvement Era and was also on the board of the YMMIA for a number of years. He authored a short biography of Brigham Young and a Brief History of the Church. Vol. 2 is signed by apostle, F[rancis] M [arion] Lyman. Dated July 26, 1883 in his hand as well. Vol. 3 is signed by apostle Richard R. Lyman. Condition: Very good. Item #33038
