--gap from 9 Sep 1845 to 27 Mar 1846
-- William Smith was ordained a "Patriarch to the whole church…to preside over the patriarchs" on 24 May 1845. Somewhere around the end of August, the 12 decided to let him give blessings in the East.
--last William Smith blessing in Early Patriarchal Blessings is 11 Sep 1845 (the next day he leaves Nauvoo for an unspecified amount of time)
"On October 6, 1845, during a Church general conference in the Nauvoo temple, when William's name was presented for a vote to sustain him, the motion did not pass. William was officially expelled from the Church two weeks later on October 19, 1845…William's excommunication concluded his service as both Church Patriarch and a member in the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles."

--10 blessings are recorded after his excommunication date, all recorded by Arthur Millikan (who had recorded earlier blessings as well)
--both William and Millikan supported Strang briefly-William was ordained a patriarch in the movement in Jun 1846
--No one that has written on William has ever indicated that he continued to give blessings in Nauvoo beyond his excommunication date. Condition: Very good. Item #30050
