In 1915, First Presidency counselor Charles Penrose was tasked with revising Parley P. Pratt's classic Key to Theology, possibly to make it harmonize better with John Widtsoe's new manual, Joseph Smith as Scientist. With no indication of these sweeping changes made (removing all traces of polygamy and tweaking Pratt's thoughts on the Holy Spirit as a "fluid"), Deseret News-and then Deseret Book-continued to issue new printings of Pratt's last book. This eighth edition is the earliest printing we are aware of that came with a dust jacket. Condition: Very good. Item #29118
