In 1915, a new printing of Parley P. Pratt's classic Key to the Science of Theology was issued, the first in more than twenty years. While it was simply described as the "seventh edition," careful readers would have noticed that there were some pretty radical changes. This 1891 printing is the "first fifth edition" (the 1893 printing is also labeled "fifth edition") and the last before changes were made.
Under the direction of apostle Charles Penrose, Pratt's book underwent heavy editing, largely to remove references to polygamy and Pratt's fascinating ideas regarding the Spirit as something akin to an electrical "fluid" for the 1915 edition. Condition: Near very good. Item #20600
