Edward Hunter, Faithful Steward

Edward Hunter (1793-1883), Presiding Bishop from 1851 until his death at the age of 90, is a perfect example of a person who was extremely important during his time but relatively unknown today. This biography was written by a grandson, William E. Hunter, who passed away in 1967. Janath Russell Cannon, with her background in editing and whose husband-Edwin Q. Cannon-was a second cousin to William Hunter's wife, Jeanne, stepped in and edited the book for publication. The first edition-published in 1970-is fairly scarce (we've had less than ten copies ever). At some point, this undated reprint was produced-we have seen even fewer of this version. Condition: Very good. Item #13317
